We have communicated with your central station(s) on AlarmNet’s upcoming, new service package offerings and billing structure. Our new simplified package structure for alarm communications and services helps to make service selection, programming and invoice processing easier. This change is due to the long-term feedback we have been hearing from you and your central station partners.
Simple Packages
In June, you will soon have three simplified packages to select from:
Security: Includes alarm communication and APL where supported
Upgrading your customers to the latest communication technology gives you a great opportunity to maintain your relationships — and create RMR-generating opportunities! It’s as simple as discussing the additional services your organization already provides.
When you are upgrading your 3G accounts, add smart home technology to the accounts by upgrading VISTA accounts with a Tuxedo or VISTA Automation Module (VAM), add a Z-Wave® module to LYNX accounts. For LYRIC, add nothing but additional services since it already has smart functionality included.
Rebate Program
AT&T plans to end service on its 3G wireless network in February 2022 and Verizon plans to end service to its CDMA network on December 31, 2022. Be proactive: begin upgrading your accounts today. To help you do this, Resideo has created an LTE Upgrade Rebate Program* valid until the end of the year, where you may swap installed 3G and CDMA radios for LTE communicators from Resideo. Click here to read our cellular LTE options and click here to read our multi-path LTE options. For each radio replaced with a new LTE communicator, Resideo will apply a $20 credit to the dealer’s ADI account. Each credit will be applied on a monthly basis for the previous month’s swap activity. Please open the attached flyer for details.
AlarmNet 360™ Rebate Form
Log into AlarmNet 360 and click on the Rebate Form in the 3G Sunset icon located in the side menu. You may process one rebate at a time or upload a batch file containing old and new MAC IDs, which can be processed together. Once submitted, your rebate will be processed by ADI and should be available in your ADI account within 4-6 weeks.

There is a new camera setting option with the ability to “turn on camera privacy when security is disarmed.” Enabling this new setting will automatically turn the camera privacy feature on for Total Connect HD Video Cameras when the security system is disarmed. Once the system is armed again, the camera privacy mode will be turned off. Putting a camera in privacy mode means your camera cannot be viewed and will not record. Once privacy mode is turned off, the camera will resume its normal full functionality. This new setting gives users more peace of mind while at home, and simplifies their experience. This feature will need to be turned on in each individual camera’s settings.
The Total Connect website, iOS and Android app now offers the ability to create a notification for no activity. Users can set up a notification to be alerted during a specific time frame when there has been no sensor activity or if the alarm system has not been set. For example, if an elderly family member lives alone and the user wants to ensure that they are up and moving around in their home, the user can easily set up a notification for no activity. If the elderly person fails to open a door, walk past a sensor, etc., the user will be notified. This can be configured under the notification settings: Select Security, System, and No Activity Alert. This feature may only be used when the system is in a disarmed state and may be configured for a 1-hour, 4-hour, 8-hour, 12-hour or 24-hour time frame.
AT&T plans to end service on its 3G wireless networks in February 2022. 3G/4G new activations will no longer be permitted after June 26, 2019. This means you will no longer be able to activate a new 3G/4G communicator for an AlarmNet account. Existing 3G/4G communicators that are currently registered will continue to communicate to the central station.
The manufacturing date is located on the carton and on the radio label. Any existing 3G/4G communicators that are currently registered are expected to communicate and be supported by AlarmNet through February 2022 under Resideo’s agreement with AT&T.
If you cancel a registered/billable 3G/4G account on or after June 26, 2019, you cannot reactivate the 3G/4G communicator because reactivation will be considered a new activation.
Resideo has expanded its communicator portfolio to include LTE radios, which provides a transition to new cellular technology, and offers maximum network longevity. Click here to read our LTE family data sheet.
